Diamonds 101: COLOR

Color is graded on a scale that varies from totally colorless to yellow. The scale starts with D, which is deemed colorless and goes all the way to Z. The further down the scale, the more yellow cast the stone will have.  Most jewelers stay in the Colorless (D-F) or Near Colorless (G-J) range.
